YOGA: Mara Radulovic is a Yoga Alliance certified Hatha Yoga Instructor. She is dedicated to her one hour, six-days-a-week Yoga practice. She became a certified instructor through studies with Debbie Cohen (Core Yoga) in Cambridge, MA. Mara continues to study Yoga with Debbie Cohen and Patricia Walden. Mara’s teaching credits include: Harvard University Wellness, Karma Yoga, Equilibrium and Wellbridge Athletics. As a student and teacher, Mara is interested in how Yoga can positively affect one’s health and happiness. She explores how Yoga can be used as a tool to help open up channels of creativity and enhance the training of actors. Mara also uses elements of Yoga as a tool for training actors. By learning effective breathing techniques and learning how to be present in the moment, students of acting acquire an ability to align their body, mind and heart. When using elements of Yoga, the body gains strength and flexibility, thereby channeling energy toward acting work. Through Yoga, you will be able to connect with yourself and with others. You will practice concentration by focusing your mind on stage. Mara incorporates elements of Yoga into her work with movement and acting students at Emerson College. ON-GOING CLASSES:
